Liquid Praise

Many people raise their hands in worship, dance a little, laugh out loud, or clap their hands...me? I mostly cry and I try to hold it in, but sometimes the tears flow anyway. When music, words or sermons move me...I just cry. I try to have kleenex near me, but sometimes I  forget...and then that's not a pretty sight. Sometimes I wish I could be more demonstrative in worship, but He knows my heart. I'd rather sing all the words instead of crying, cause I like singing...A lady at church calls it Liquid Praise and I like her term! So there you go...Praise to HIM is Praise whether it be liquid or not!

O Lord, my Lord, How excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on or above the heavens.

Class of 2010

Tonight is graduation night for all the public schools in Henry county. Zach graduated from Paragon Academy (our once a week place for classes not taught at home and our accreditation institute) last Friday night and we were able to present him his diploma without crying...Karl did the speaking part I just stood there and looked "pretty"! LOL

We are proud of all our children...God has blessed us indeed!

Zach graduated with highest honors and Beta Club honors like his dad did...I didn't have all the gold chords and stoles when I graduated...just a plain robe...glad Zach followed after his dad's example!
Here is Zach with Honey, Shek, Gam, Pop, and Karlie...Congratulations, Zach... Class of 2010!...We started this home educating adventure 6 years ago and now our first homeschool experiment graduated! Hallelujah and Praise the Lord!

Requested recipe used at Zach's Graduation party last Sunday afternoon.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
3 large cans of Chicken
3 cups of grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 (8oz) cream cheese
8oz of ranch dressing
8 oz of blue cheese dressing
1 large bottle of buffalo sauce

Heat it all up...keep warm in the crockpot...serve with tostitos scoops...it makes folks beg for more or slap their momma it's sooo good!

The Pets!

Elvis the Cat!

Lisa Marie
Emily

Here's some photos of our pets.  Lisa Marie, our newest kitty, followed Melissa and I on our exercise walk one day so she came home with me. I was hoping she was a boy because I like boy cats best, but she is a girl cat and very affectionate for a cat. We named her Lisa Marie to go with Elvis! He doesn't know what to think about her,but he is tolerating her at least.
