The KING

I've never really been a Nascar fan, but my 3rd born was born with the nascar fan gene. Where it came from I don't know. His love for the sport is overwhelming. AND he has managed to drag us along with him, plus adding the fact that we are AdvoCare, and AdvoCare sponsors the Atlanta race, well, that makes us just all in. We enjoyed the different festivities of the weekend My favorite part of race weekend, was meeting THE king of Nascar, Richard Petty. He was at the one of our local walmarst last Friday, and we left our Fine Arts classes early to get his autograph.

THE RACE

After all the festivities it was finally time for the race. Zach had even come home from college for the race.

It was a crazy busy weekend....and I'm just getting around to posting...

AdvoCare 500 walk for children's charities

On race day, we all headed to the track, went to the AdvoCare tent, and had worship service with our AdvoCare friends. Rick Loy lead worship and gave an awesome message. Afterwards, we headed to the track to walk for Speedway Children's Charities.

Last weekend was the AdvoCare 500 RACE weekend...my little nascar fan was so excited. When he found out that one of the drivers was going to be signing autographs at one of our local walmarts...well, he made plans that we were going.
